Word First does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything the app knows about you stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Word First has no user accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. There is no backend. There is nothing to collect.
Data stored on your device
The app stores your settings, reading history, saved verses, and reflections entirely in SwiftData and UserDefaults on your iPhone. This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to our servers because we have no servers.
Screen Time & App Blocking
Word First uses Apple's Family Controls framework to apply app restrictions. This operates entirely within Apple's Screen Time system. Land Run Brands has no visibility into which apps you select or how long you've blocked them — that information never leaves your device or Apple's system.
In-app purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple's App Store. Land Run Brands receives only a confirmation that a subscription is active. We do not receive your payment details, Apple ID, or any personal information associated with your purchase.
Crash reporting
We use Apple's MetricKit framework for crash diagnostics. This data is aggregated and anonymized by Apple and is never tied to any individual user. We receive only statistical summaries, not personal identifiers.
Children's privacy
Word First does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Since we collect nothing, there is nothing to worry about here.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change our data practices, we will update this page. We do not anticipate changes — the design of this app intentionally forecloses data collection.
